Our paid six-month internship programme provides a unique opportunity to work at a prominent digital marketing agency, where you will develop skills through real-world assignments with international clients. This role is ideal for those looking to deepen their knowledge and establish a solid foundation in the field through hands-on involvement in diverse marketing projects.
Digital Marketing Intern
WSI is the largest and most experienced digital marketing network of its kind. Our South African Agency provides digital marketing solutions to businesses globally through our team situated in George, Western Cape.
As a digital marketing intern, you will team up with one of our consultants and have the opportunity to get real hands-on experience working on client projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic keyword research for a site or for content ideas,
- Modify title tags,
- Audit a mediocre website and come up with a decent list of recommendations,
- Perform basic monthly SEO reports,
- Build a Google+ page,
- Understanding Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools
- Identifying and resolving 404 crawl errors and fixing dead links
- Improving metadata across older articles and services
- Perform linkbuilding tasks to improve traffic
Job Requirements:
- Strong interest in online marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills.
- Experience with WordPress and basic HTML is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Team player above anything!
