Fraud Alert: Beware of Scammers Using WSIOMS’ Name

We have been made aware that scammers are impersonating WSIOMS Digital Marketing, falsely claiming to offer freelance work and requesting personal banking information. These fraudulent messages are being sent via WhatsApp by someone pretending to be “Enzokuhle or Omphilr, the HR Assistant at WSIOMS.”

⚠️ Please be advised:
✅ WSIOMS does not offer freelance work.
✅ We will never contact anyone via WhatsApp for job opportunities or payment details.
✅ If you receive such messages, do not engage—delete them immediately.

We take this matter seriously and are working to stop these fraudulent activities. If you suspect you have been contacted by a scammer using our name, please delete the message and report it.

Stay vigilant and thank you for your support.

Your first question may be, “What is ux?” The fact that you asked only goes to prove that jargon and terminology that is familiar to you does not necessarily make sense to your prospects and customers. Even if abbreviations such as UX are common within your industry, your message would be far more effective by spelling it out as user’s experience. Communication is all about being understood by the recipient – who may be new to the business or confused about their needs.

To optimize your website’s effectiveness, you need to ask yourself these two questions:

  1. Does your website clearly state what you offer?
  2. How easy is it for a newcomer to your site to find what they are looking for?

User experience is connected to sales

Nearly three-quarters of business owners believe that their sales are directly connected to their user experience. This is because a prospect who has decided to buy from you may only be vaguely aware of his or her full requirements. But with a website that offers a user-friendly format and simple navigation, users are more likely to take the time to fulfill their needs. This increases your chances of making a sale and is also an integral part of improved SEO.

User experience elements

With so many people using smartphones to access the internet, check that your website is designed to adapt to various devices.

While search engine optimization may be calculated by robots, your website is designed for humans. Get the best of both by ensuring that you have interesting content, imaginative display, and easy navigation which will naturally keep visitors on your site for a longer time.
