Google announced a while ago that they will be implementing a new update to their algorithm called “Caffeine”. They announced on the Google webmaster centralbloga that they are in the process of adding this new change to their algorithm and they included a developers section www2.sandbox.google.com where you could test this new change.

Based on the success we’ve seen, we believe Caffeine is ready for a larger audience. Soon we will activate Caffeine more widely, beginning with one data center. This sandbox is no longer necessary and has been retired, but we appreciate the testing and positive input that webmasters and publishers have given.
This shows that the update will be implemented soon.
I will be researching this new update and check if I can find out when the update will actually go live. Some parts of this new search update is already coming through but be sure to find important changes on Google in the near future.
