I am on a roll this month and attending the WSI E&I Conference in Birmingham was a pleasure.
Following on from the Community Award, later in the evening I was surprised to win another award, two in one night, wow.
The Area Rep award, which is based on performance, achieved for the South African region of which I look after.
The Area Rep award is challenging as it is based on performance against all the other countries. We scraped in at 5th place just behind Canada & France. Mexico & Monterrey took the first 2 positions with a revenue increase of 140%. That is an excellent result and Carlos Guzman & Alberto Ferreiro must have worked really hard to achieve that. Just goes to show how well the Mexican Marketing is growing with regards to Digital Marketing. We achieved a 34% increase, which is really pleasing considering our currency is weaker than our European & American counterparts.
So the South Africans are on the board and we are going to work hard to move up the ladder next year.
